First of all, hello blog! Long time, no see. I must confess that I haven’t been very active on here in quite a while. School, homework, finals, and family things managed to occupy quite a lot of my time, and I didn’t make blogging a priority, but I’m back now!
I have some more free time on my hands this summer, and naturally, I’m itching to find a good book to read. The only problem is that I don’t know where to begin. So that’s where I’m hoping you can come in and help.
What do you suggest I read?
I love reading anything dystopian, mystery, adventure, or contemporary YA. If it’s a good story with a compelling plot, I’m likely to love it. I just can’t decide what I should choose, and with a B&N gift card burning a hole in my pocket, that just won’t do!
So if you’ve read any good books lately, I’d love to hear about it.

Welcome back! I totally get what you mean about being too busy to blog. *sigh* Okay, so YA contemporary suggestions: The Serpent King, The Art of Being Normal, The First Time She Drowned–kind of in that order. If you get a chance to read of them I’d love to hear what you think.

Thanks, Eve. I know – sometimes time just flies by, and then I realized I haven’t blogged in a while. Ooh, all of these books sound really good. I’m definitely looking these up!
